In addition, "Zhi Jin", i.e. interweaving of colored silk and cotton threads onto one piece, is famous as well. Plain stitch and cross-stitch are two common methods for embroidery. In addition, various other methods such as braiding, coiling, creasing and cocoon-like winding are utilized.
