Description

Zhao Ji (1082-1135) was the Emperor Huizong, known by his hao (literary name) Xuanhe Zhuren. Zhao Jie is noted for his calligraphy. The unique “Slender Jin” style was named by him. This handscroll was completed in the third year of Chongning reign (1104) when Zhao Ji was twenty-three years old.
