Zhao Zhiqian (1829-1884), originally known as Yifu (zi, designated name) and Lengjun (hao, literary name), was later renamed Weishu (zi) and Bei’an (hao). A native of Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province, he was especially good at painting and calligraphy.
