Square Table with Three Spandrels to One Leg and Humpbacked Stretchers with Decorative Struts

Description

This work reflects the standard construction of a square table in the Ming dynasty. The feet are made in the melon-ridged shapes so called by the craftsmen. The intersecting corners of the table board and the four legs are decorated with cloud design in openwork. The corners are decorated with twisted grass design.
