As a native of Jiangning (known as Nanjing now), Fan Yi (17th century) the brother of the artist Fan Qi was Nanjing, known for his paintings on landscapes, figures, flowers and plants. His zi (designated name) is Yuyi. This work was painted in the seventh year (1668) of Kangxi reign.
