It is the tallest, outdoor bronze statue of Gautama Buddha in the world. Zhao wrote this paean at the age of ninety-one in 1997 when attending the Dharma service held for its inauguration. His calligraphy, being graceful and dignified, is manifested in good brush strength and moist black-ink strokes.
