Description

Zhao Puchu wrote this work on August 1, 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), when he was eighty-one. The Song of Integrity was a poem by Wen Tianxiang, which Zhao borrowed to extol the PLA's tremendous spirit in defending China in the face of odds. The whole text features a coherent, strengthful momentum of the brush, a good composition of space between characters, and a rhythmic flow combining both slender and wide strokes.
