Zhao Puchu came from an erudite family, and his preceding generations were all scholars, four of whom got the jinshi title, the highest final degree in the imperial examination. For this reason, reading to Zhao Puchu was of great significance. No matter how difficult the situations are, Zhao always looked forward with optimism.
