From February to March 1986, Zhao Puchu undertook an inspection visit to Guangdong, during which he took a special tour of the Maba Man site in Qüjiang County. During this visit, he composed a poem extolling grand human evolution and the passage of time. He also expressed his hope that people would 'gain new insights through restudying the past to foresee the future' and 'encourage our peers while reforming ourselves', thereby improving society. Completed at the age of eighty, this work features a well-balanced character structure and weighty, powerful brushwork.
