Xiang Nan (1918-1997) was born in Liancheng County, Fujian Province. He served as Party Secretary of Fujian Province and was a member of the Ninth to Twelfth CPC Central Committees and the CPC Central Advisory Commission. In this essay, Zhao Puchu reminisces about their camaraderie and pays tribute to Xiang's admirable character and notable accomplishments. Zhao Puchu created this calligraphic work with exquisite, dignified brushwork at the age of ninety-one.
