This collection comprises manuscripts of poetry, including shi, ci and qü poems, as well as modern verses, composed by Zhao Puchu from 1950 to 1977. These poems record historical events and reveal the poet's sentiments and aspirations, regarded as 'a contemporary poetic chronicle'. While collections of his poetry have been published, such as Water Drops and Stone Chips, this set of manuscripts is unique in that it comprises various copy forms, including fountain pen scripts, clippings of published works and carbon-paper copies. These are believed to be the original manuscripts for the book Stone Chips, which was published in 1978.
