Description

Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of the Song dynasty, was a master of calligraphy and painting, particularly excelling in painting ink bamboo, flowers, and stones. This painting is divided into two parts. The first part depicts crows on a willow tree. The brushstrokes showcase a rustic and archaic style, contributing to the elegance within the artwork. It is widely recognized as an authentic work of him. The painting was once collected in the imperial collection of the Northern Song dynasty, stamped with seals including "Xuan He Zhong Mi (Imperial Collection of the Xuanhe Era)".
