Zhou Chen (15^th-16^th century) is also known by his zi (designated name) Shunqing and his hao (literary name) Dongcun. A native of Wu (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu province) Zhou Chen was known for landscape painting with firm and meticulous strokes in the style of the Painting Academy of the Southern Song dynasty.
