Yang Borun (1837-1911) was born in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. His zi (designated name) is Peifu and he got two haos (literary name): Chachan Jushi (aficionado of tea and Zen), Nanhu Waishi. This album was created in the tenth year (1884) of Guangxu reign, when the artist was forty-eight years old.
