This is a painting by Zhao Kui (1186-1266), a member of the Southern Song royal family and a distinguished painter. During the late Yuan dynasty, the artwork circulated in the Wusong area, with inscriptions added by figures such as Yang Weizhen, Wang Feng, and Qian Weishan. Amidst the military upheavals in southeastern China at the end of the Yuan dynasty, Yang Weizhen, Qian Weishan, and a group of scholars sought refuge in Songjiang. Wang Feng, in particular, moved several times, residing in Qinglong Town, Hengmao, and Wunijing (now within present-day Qingpu, Songjiang, and Xuhui districts in Shanghai).
